In addition to meeting the faculty and students, Director Bob Swaim screened two of his award winning films: his documentary “Lumières Noires” and his MGM feature film, “Masquerade”.
One of the purposes of the visit was to promote and expand upon the existing partnership between EICAR and Manipal University. Bob Swaim also gave an interview on Manipal Dubai TV during which he shared his experience as a student in France where he discovered French film culture, and as a filmmaker who was confroted with American and European ways of thinking Film making.
University President Dr. KOTA REDDY presented Bob with a commemorating sculpture for his visit and contribution to the students’ program.
